Dr. Mary Anne Fifield, DMFT, CAS, CSAT-S, LMFT
Founder and Director
Dr. Fifield received her doctorate of Marital and Family Therapy from Fuller Theological Seminary, and is a Certified Addiction Specialist. In addition she has earned a certificate as a Sex Addiction Therapist (CSAT) with Dr. Patrick Carnes, formerly of the Meadows Institute and currently the director of the Gentle Path program at Pine Grove in Mississippi. She is a member of the International Institute of Trauma and Addiction Professionals (IITAP) and the Society for the Advancement of Sexual Health (SASH). She is a certifier for the CSAT program (linked to page on certifications for Professionals) in Northern California.
Mary Anne has taught addiction counseling as an adjunct professor at three seminaries and graduate schools. She has presented numerous workshops on addiction to churches, mental health professionals and the public. Training mental health professionals on addiction treatment is another professional endeavor.
Renee E. Brown, M.A., LMFT
Marketing

Renee is currently assisting The ARC with marketing and promotions. She has extensive experience in the field of treatment and management of addiction and mental health organizations. Renee obtained her Master’s degree from JFK University, Campbell, CA and Licensed by the State Board since January 2000. Her long career in corporate banking finance assisted her clinical skills by creating healthy and vibrant organizational and clinical teams to do the difficult work fighting the disease of addiction. Renee is a member of CAMFT and it’s local chapter, and served four years on the chapter Board.

Staff Facilitator

Invia Betjoseph is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and a Senior Staff at the Addiction Recovery Center (The ARC). He received his Master's degree in Clinical Psychology from Azusa Pacific University and is a Certified Sex Addiction Therapist (CSAT). As the facilitator of the Men's sex addiction program at The ARC, he facilitates a variety of groups for men who struggle with compulsions and addictions of a sexual nature. He has extensive experience with “Every Man's Battle,” a faith-based organization dedicated to helping men deal with sexual addiction. Invia also has Level I training in EMDR and is certified in Affect Centered Therapy (ACT) providing successful trauma recovery for many of his clients. He is a professional member of CAMFT, AAMFT, IITAP and the Society for the Advancement of Sexual Health (SASH)
